  • Darrin & Shannon

    Husband and wife team, Darrin and Shannon Maxwell started Charley’s in the fall of 2022. They began by selling their small batch craft donuts from their home in the Village of Granville through social media and their website. Shannon is a skilled baker who is known by family and friends for her decadent desserts. Darrin is a passionate plant-based home cook who has created a unique line of vegan baked donut flavors. The business was named in honor of Shannon's late grandpa Charley, who owned a bakery in Buffalo, NY in the 1980’s.

    Gracie

    The self-proclaimed “Chief Operating Officer” began as a helping hand in the summer of 2023, dishing out donuts and petting dogs (never simultaneously). As the market season ended, she looked for more opportunities to stay involved in the family business. Niece to Darrin and Shannon, Gracie now helps with a little bit of everything from logistics to events and anything in between. Aside from donuts, she’s passionate about access to education, reading, and her Goddaughter, Adonai Grace.
